Now I know that this blog is really about Thomas, and for everyone who lives far away to see pictures of him, but I just was feeling very thankful, so I needed to post about that.First, I'm so thankful for Newnan. What a neat little town it is, and what rich friendships we're already developing! God is so good to provide what we need in that way! I'm so thankful that we live in a place where it takes me NINE minutes to leave my driveway, sit in the bank drive-thru, make a deposit and be back in my driveway. I'm also thankful that I live in a place where when I buy two sheet of 2 cent stamps (worth 40 cents altogether) that the postman runs out of the post office after me if I forget them! And that I live in a place where I can hear the high school band practicing from my driveway!
Along this route of thankfulness...Brax and I were blessed this week with some great furniture that Brax's cousin Hanson didn't need anymore! We love it, and it's been so fun getting it all arranged. God knew that I couldn't handle the slipcover on the couch in the living room anymore, and provided the furniture at just the right time. What a treat!
And last...I am so thankful to have a wonderful husband, and a healthy baby! I know these are such simple things, but so fabulous at the same time. Sometimes, " 'Tis a gift to be simple, 'tis a gift to be free..." -kaw
