Fayetteville

For six days in October Thomas and I went to Fayetteville to visit Pops and Gram. After a very shaky trip there, and a whole day spent in the Atlanta airport without enough formula we had a great time! Thomas got to spend some quality time with his Arkansas grandparents!

Gram and Pops kept Thomas on Saturday afternoon. I took their ticket and Becky and I went to the game and watched the Razorbacks whomp Ole Miss! Whooooooo Pig Sooie!

One of the reasons for going to Fayetteville was the go to some of the MANY craft fairs that are around NWA in October. We had a great time strolling through all the fun stuff. On Sunday when we went it was FREEZING and we had to buy a blanket so Thomas would be ok. (And no we did not plan the outfit. We're just related.)

We were in Fayetteville right after Thomas' six month birthday so Gram hosted a party in his honor. He didn't actually get to eat anything at the party, but it was still fun. He shared his birthday with Becky, Miss Lisa and Kendall. What a selfless kid!

While we were in Fayetteville Thomas played in some "new" things and with some "new" toys. One of which was the Wall Street Journal-Pops feels that it is very important for Thomas to start liking it at a young age!

Thomas was all dressed on Friday for the Cardinals win in the World Series! Thanks for the outfit Miss Beth! (how ironic...)

Roll Tide

We took Thomas to his first Alabama football game against Ole Miss. We won in overtime thankfully. It was a VERY full day for Thomas, but we had fun with the fam!

I try so hard to make sure that Thomas is warm enough when he takes naps because we don't keep our house particularly toasty. I guess it doesn't really matter...

Market Day

I sold my note cards on the square in Newnan the first weekend of October at Market Day. Thomas came along and had a great time! Our booth was set up right next to our next door neighbor's booth. The picture of Thomas smiling is our next door neighbor Mrs. Ellen holding him.

Favorite Toy

This is Thomas' favorite toy. It's a lion that sings. His face lights up everytime he sees it or hears it!

Evening Walk

We've been trying to walk in the evenings when Brax gets home from work. This is one of our days.

Highlands, North Carolina

Brax and I just spent a weekend away in Highlands, North Carolina. Mimi, Papa and Aunt Katey came and took care of Thomas and they apparently partied all weekend. We had a great time relaxing,talking, sleeping, playing cards, hiking, shopping and eating in absurdly expensive, delicious restaurants. (Highlands was a bit more expensive than we were thinking.) These are pictures from our dinner both nights that we were there. (Check out the painting behind us. All the painting in this Log Cabin Steak House were by a guy named Penley and he's AWESOME!!!) We were glad to get home to our sweet Thomas, but it was also nice to have a few days away!

Self Portraits...

I mean, when you go on a trip with just two people, unless you take self portraits sometimes it's hard to get pictures...They all make me giggle! (The ones where my face is cut off I took. I can't get both of our heads in for some reason...)

The Hike

While in North Carolina Brax and I actually got up early one morning and went on a hike. (yes Sarah Ann...a hike! we're so granola!) It was really foggy, and then absolutely gorgeous!!!

We found this hat for Thomas and just had to get it! Papa really likes it too! It was hard to get a picture of Thomas' face and the hat...He's quite wiggly! Though I do not feel that Thomas should wear camo on a regular basis, every so often it's pretty cute!
