Eleven Months

Not the Smartest

The other day I poured out the end of a pack of Banana-Strawberry dried fruit for Thomas to eat. As you can see, not the smartest decision-the pink powder was MUCH more fun than eating the fruit!

Ride On!

Landon is already walking as long as he something to hold onto. The other night Thomas was on the little ride on toy and Landon started pushing him across the room. Thomas wasn't sure at first, but he ended up really liking it. And I must say that I was very impressed with Landon's speed!

The Grass

Thomas got to play in the grass for the first time the other day. Now, I promise I'm not a freaked out mom, but I was really nervous for him to be in the grass because where I'm from CHIGGERS live in the grass, and I definitely did not want to deal with that! But, Rebecca and our other neighbor Ellen assured me that chiggers don't live in the grass in Georgia. They were right. Thomas loved the grass and didn't get any bites!

We Miss You!

It's tax season, so obviously Brax has been working a lot! Thomas and I sent him this picture at work the other day. I thought I'd go ahead and post it so he'd know that we miss him whenever he's gone!

Photo Shoot

Ever since Thomas got this outfit from his cousins Jack and Charlie I've been wanting him to wear it. It's finally warm enough, so I thought I'd do a little photo shoot in the backyard. Of course he wouldn't look at the camera and smile, but I still think he's cute. I'm his mom-I'm allowed!

A Tooth!

Thomas has finally gotten his first tooth (ironically on the same weekend that his friend Landon across the street got his first tooth also!). He was with Papa John the dentist when it happened! I know that the picture just looks like it has a lot of reflections in it, but actually the reflection that you see in the front of Thomas' mouth is the tooth!

Games

This is one of the games Thomas likes to play while he's in his high chair. He lays his head on his arm back and forth, back and forth!

Inclement Weather

While we were in Birmingham a few weeks ago there was a day where extremely bad weather was predicted! They even closed all the schools. Thomas and I spent the afternoon with the Kings. Thomas LOVED playing with Marley and Parker and even took a nap on a mattress on the floor of Will's room. The weather got dangerous in other parts of Alabama, but thankfully Birmingham stayed pretty calm. We did go to our "safe place" for a little while though, just to make sure!
