Little League Night

Just like last year, Thomas's t-ball team celebrated Little League Night at the Minor League ballpark. (Thomas's team this year are the Muckdogs and he's having a blast!) Now, we've had an unseasonably warm spring, like most of the rest of the country. But the night of the ballgame was COLD. And WINDY!!!!!!!!!!!! I brought blankets and bundled up the fam, and we still only made it through a couple of innings. We do love going to the games though. I see several more in our future for the summer.

Soccer is Over

Mae had a fun time playing soccer. Mostly. By the time the season was over she was running around the field at least mostly where the ball was. She seemed to have no desire to get into the pack and kick it, but she also wasn't crying very much. We had an end of the year swimming/pizza party. She was SOOOOOO excited that the day of the party she woke up with the words, "Today is my soccer party." and told several people throughout the day that it was her birthday. She was so proud to have a trophy like Thomas!

Thomas's Birthday

After Thomas's bowling party, we celebrated his birthday as a family pretty low key. He requested cinnamon rolls for breakfast, so he had those as he opened presents. One of the really fun things was a new backboard and rim for the basketball goal in our backyard. I was on lunch duty at Thomas's school anyway, but Brax came and brought him Chick-Fil-A for lunch. Then PaPa and MiMi came over for supper. I think he had a fun day!
