Fayetteville August 2007

Thomas and I drove to Fayetteville for an extended visit! We got to have lots of great hang out time with my mom and dad and then Brax flew in for the weekend for Areta and Allen's wedding! It was really fun!

Driving Buddies

Thomas and I drove to Fayetteville and it is a LOOOOOOONG way! On the way there GG Lu flew to Memphis and I picked her up so she could go the rest of the way with us. On the way back Becky joined us for the whole journey and then flew back from Birmingham the next day (miraculously!). What great people they are!

Papa Louie and GG Joan

Joan and Louie live next door to my parents and are Thomas' adoptive Great Grandmother and adoptive Great Great Grandfather! He had a nice visit with them, walking in circles around Louie's part of the house!

While we were in Fayetteville we got to visit with GG Lu and GG Rich several times. Thomas had a great time with them playing, looking at nature and even (if you can believe it!) dancing!

Candlelight Dinner

A few weeks ago we had quite a storm here in Alabama and the power went out for a good hour and 1/2. Now, of course this happened when Thomas and I were alone at the house, which meant I had to carry him around and look for candles. The dark thankfully didn't bother him at all. He had a nice candlelight bath, and then dinner by candlelight as well.
