It was time for Taste of Newnan again last week. Brax was out of town, so Michael, Rebecca and Landon let Thomas and me go with them. The food was great! I'm telling you, FRIED OREOS are IT!

Thomas' Party!
We definitely had fun at Thomas' party, and he had fun too! Lots of people came and the kids had fun going in and out of the playroom! Thomas was less excited about this cake than his last one...but all around it was a fun afternoon!

Uh Oh!
Thomas loves to say, "Uh Oh" as he throws things off his high chair. Apparently no exception is made for cake.

We gave Thomas a little drum for his birthday. He loves to pound it with his hands and the drumsticks!
Turning Around!
FINALLY we got to turn Thomas' carseat around! I don't know who was more excited. Thomas, or Brax and me!
Playing with Papa!
Papa and Mimi came to hang out with Thomas this past weekend. We had lots of fun! Sadly, I didn't get the pictures of Mimi on the floor with Thomas, but here are ones of Papa-Mimi is on the couch supervising! :)

First Birthday
Thomas's first birthday is on Monday. While Gram and Pops were here they gave him his presents from them. He got some fun cds, a game, a coloring book, and most fun, the Little People Airplane (to represent Gram and Pops' lifestyle!). He's making a funny face in one picture because that's the face he makes when he growls and pushes something around the room.
Table Food
Easter Sunday lunch was the first time that Thomas ate what Brax and I were eating for lunch. He's had table food, but always leftovers. On Sunday he had roast, potatoes and carrots. Since then he's also had chicken, corn and green beans. He also happens to love bread. (In the picture he's sticking his tongue out to get the food in, not to spit it out.)
Thomas' Easter Basket
Even though we want make sure that Thomas understands that Jesus' resurrection is the real reason for Easter it was really fun to get him an Easter basket this year (since last year he was busy being born)! We got him some new soft balls, a pinwheel, and a board book bible so he can really chew on it, and another book about "things that go!" He had fun opening it, with Dad's help!
Books
Thomas has really started enjoying listening to and participating in books! If you ask him to turn the page (as long as you've started it so he doesn't just close the book) he'll turn it for you. It's so fun to sit and read to him and have him touch the pictures on the page!
The most POWERFUL conference...and really just the best all around!
You might think that this picture represents a special sports night or something. No, it's just a normal night of small group. In our group we have two Georgia couples; obviously us, the Alabama couple; and a couple from the other school. (And yes, Brax is standing in a picture with a person from the other school. Just shows how nice Mary Faith is!)
Whirlwind Easter Tour
My mom, dad and brother went to visit Sally and Carlos in Colombia the week before Easter. They came through Atlanta in trips that involved 8 trips to the airport for Brax and me. It was really worth it though to get to hang out, and for them to get to see how Thomas is growing!

Sandals
I put these sandals on Thomas and he was NOT a fan. He immediately tried to pull them off, and fussed until I finally did.
