Standing

Thomas has recently decided that he would rather stand than sit. However, he can't pull himself up, so when I try to sit him on the floor he just bows his back so he can't sit down. It's hard to fight with him when this is the face I get when he stands!

About a month ago we got Thomas a swing. Of course it got really cold (don't laugh you Minnesotans) about that time, and we haven't had a chance to use it. But now it's back up into the 60's and Thomas LOVES his swing!

Our sweet next door neighbor gave Thomas one of her Valentine balloons. It really created quite a bit of fun!

I Want the Camera!

Thomas loves the cord that hangs down from the camera. I was trying to take some pictures the other day, and all Thomas wanted to do was get the cord.

Under the Crib

Now that Thomas is mobile he likes to try out new places. The other day while I was putting laundry away in his room he crawled halfway under his crib and stayed there for about 10 minutes just hitting his feet on the floor. Life is apparently good!

Thomas' New Friend

Thomas' new friend Isabel Paige Knierim was born on Tuesday. She weighed 7lb 14oz and lives in Birmingham for now. We can't wait to meet her in person.

Home Improvement

While my mom was here this week we pulled down the ugly wallpaper in our front bathroom. Thomas played in the hall for part of the time while we were working.

My dad read a report in the Wall Street Journal about toys when I was pregnant. It rated current toys, but at the end said that really keys and boxes were still the best ones. Super Bowl Bath Time

Michael, Rebecca and Landon came over to watch the Super Bowl at our house. When I gave Thomas his bath, we put Landon in with him. The boys were a little confused at first, but didn't seem to mind at all really.

What A Punk!

Thomas' skin has been getting irritated from his helmet and so we've been taking it off several times during the day and wiping down his head with a wipe. This is what his hair looks like afterwards.

Thomas' New Wheels (again)

Ok, so I know it seems like we have a bunch of strollers, but we don't really. I was ruining the wheels on my Graco by walking with it, and so we decided that it was time to get a jogging one. We got some gift money for Thomas (thanks Aunt Mary) and found a great deal on this stoller. Thomas and I both love it!
