Consignment Sale

This one doesn't have a picture...but OH MY GOSH! I went to my first kids consignment sale this weekend. It was crazy! For those of you that haven't been there were probably ten racks FULL of clothes, cribs, train tables, 25 strollers, 15 high chairs (got one for Mimi for $4), a HUGE table full of toys, play houses, a trampoline, 8-9 exersaucers, boxes full of shoes, a whole rack of Halloween custumes, and tables full of bedding, Boppys, shopping cart/high chair covers, wipe warmers, breast pumps, and the list goes on. Rebecca and I took Thomas and Landon, and we won't do that next time. It was really hard to look at all the clothes while trying to navigate the strollers through everything. There were some serious mom's there too! I saw more than one person with a laundry basket, just dumping clothes into it. One mom even had hers on the floor (apparently more hands free) and was just scooting it along under the racks with her foot as she went. If you have kids, or are going to have kids I would HIGHLY recommend going to one of these! It was awesome! (I'm such a mom...)

57...

...was the temperature when Thomas, Rebecca, Landon and I walked this morning. I had to put more clothes on Thomas! Yea! Fall is on the way! Although it did get up to 74 this afternoon there was a cool breeze. And I'll totally take what I can get!!!

Five Months

A milestone! Thomas is now bigger than Hamley Bear! I think the formula is working. We'll be on to the 10th percentile before we know it. :) That also is the same chair-just for the record. It's been slipcovered.

Depot Days

On Saturday when Brax and his dad went dove hunting the girls and Thomas went to Hartselle for Depot Days. There were fun booths set up along the main street with crafts. Plus lots of fun stores. We were ready for the game, and we totally wore Thomas out!

Kick and Play

Thomas really likes his new Kick and Play toy from Mimi. He can lay down and kick, or sit up and press the buttons with his hands.

Thomas' First At Home Play Date

Thomas has a friend, Landon, that lives across the street. He is 11 day younger (and ironically 11 pounds heavier) that Thomas. He came over the other day and the boys played in their toys and looked at each other...

Thomas is finally big enough to use the Jumparoo that Aunt Katey gave him. Though it's hard to tell from the pictures he LOVES it!

Paddington Bear

Recently Brax and I washed the car, and Thomas sat outside in his highchair while we did it. I put a hat on him to keep the sun off of his face, and kept thinking he looked like Paddington Bear!

The Wedding!

The wedding was fabulous. Sally was the MOST gorgeous bride! She and Carlos were so obviously in love and so happy to be getting married! The ceremony, conducted mostly in English, with a little Spanish was such a glory to God! Thomas did really well, and only screamed during the professional family pictures! :)

Quality Time

Thomas got some great time with Pops, Gram, Aunt Sally & Uncle Joel this weekend!

We got a new stroller for Thomas that would be easier to take on trips. It's what we used at Sally's wedding to hold on to him!
