Peek-A-Boo

Thomas and I went to the library this morning. We sang a Peek-A-Boo song and today during lunch Thomas continued!

Ooops

The other night after hanging from Mimi and Papa's tree, playing with the basketball, hunting Easter eggs and eating dinner which included chocolate cake we got home a few minutes after Thomas' bedtime. I skipped the bath and put him right to bed! Brax met us at his parents' house after work and so drove separately. He needed to run to the store, so he got home about thirty minutes after us. When he walked in he said, "Is Thomas' light on?" I ran upstairs to check and realized that I'd been in such a hurry to get him into bed and get his noise maker and heater on that I'd forgotten to turn off his light. The funny thing is that he never made any noise, and was sound asleep anyway!

Easter Egg Hunt

We let Thomas look for Easter eggs this year. We thought we might do a hunt in Birmingham on Easter Sunday with Brax's family so we wanted him to know what was going on. These pictures are Thomas hunting eggs at Mimi and Papa's. The last picture is blurry because he was running looking for more eggs. He thought it was a REALLY fun game!

Hanging

Thomas has discovered that if he holds onto something and picks up his feet he can hang. We're still working with him to know that it's not ok on the pantry shelves, but it is ok on Mimi and Papa's tree!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Last Monday Thomas and I ventured out to the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade was average. I'm not sure if it was because it was Spring Break here, or if St. Patty's day isn't that important. However, Thomas enjoyed it and it was the first time that I used his monkey backpack/harness! It worked like a charm. He got to run, and jump and play and I knew exactly where he was! PLUS a few snacks fit into his backpack.

The Toy Box

Before I got smart and only let Thomas do one puzzle at a time, there was a day that we had ALL the puzzles down at one time. During that time we lost a puzzle piece of a rooster. I knew it had to be at the bottom of the toy box, so the other day I finally dumped it out. We found the piece and Thomas found the perfect place for a snack. (notice the scrunchy face which is what happens when I ask him to smile!)

The Hose

Thomas has always loved the hose! The other day I got very ambitious and decided to clean our high chair, Thomas's new table and chairs, and our dining room chairs in the front yard. Thomas actually got to play with the hose with water coming out of it. From what I can tell that was WAY better! (And for those like us that are currently drought conscious, the hose was actually on for a very short time!)

Weekend in Georgia

We went to Georgia last weekend and had a wonderful time seeing some old dear friends and actually meeting new people too! We saw two mommies that are about to pop! And one mommy that is just starting out! It was a great trip!

Thomas did really well except for breakfast on Sunday morning. We'll cut him a little slack though. He was VERY tired because in the process of the weekend we lost two hours. Georgia is one hour ahead of us, and last weekend was daylight savings. So, he was really tired!
P.S. Isn't it fun to see Thomas and Landon together again?

Thomas' New Table

We just had our spring kids consignment sale and I got some fun new stuff for Thomas. He got a table and chairs, a tool bench, some new puzzles, a bowling game and a golf game. I also got him a few new clothes, but not very many since we already have SO many from our generous cousins Jack and Charlie (and their Mom!)! The picture of Brax and Thomas is Thomas eating a meal at his new table, and Brax sitting on the floor to help him remember that "we don't get up until we're finished eating."

In the Wheelbarrow

A couple of days ago Brax and his dad chopped up a tree in our backyard. After they were done chopping Thomas went out to help. He got a ride in the wheelbarrow. I know it's really blurry because it was right at dusk, but I think you can still see his smile!

Tractors

We recently went to the Huntsville Builders and Remodelers show. It was fun to walk around for a couple of hours. Thomas very much enjoyed sitting on the tractors and very much did NOT enjoy sitting in his stroller. (I know you can't see him well in one of the pictures, but I think it's cute of Brax!)

Just Like Daddy

PUZZLES!!!!!!!!!!

Thomas LOVES doing puzzles. We've recently gotten a bunch of different ones from Jack and Charlie and Thomas does them ALL at least once a day. Usually more! They sit on top of the entertainment center so I can control them and he points to the top and says, "Pubbles, Pubbles!" over and over again! As soon as I say that he can do them he sits down on the floor, sticks his legs out in front of him and waits patiently! It's pretty funny!

Hat

Thomas found his Alabama hat that he hasn't wanted to wear for months and months. All of a sudden he does...He likes to put it on and take it off himself.

Really Funny!

The other day I went to get Thomas up from his nap and this is what I found. A boy naked from the waist down! I didn't know that he could even take his pants off...I left him and really quick ran down to get my camera! (please excuse the shadow from my hand when I took the picture)
